The Venus Project

Wow! Check it out. These images are from a project that an Italian artist named Anna Utopoa Giordano is working on. She takes beautiful old paintings of Venus, the Roman Goddess of Love (Aphrodite to the Greeks) and photoshops them to have the body proportions of current day models. What do you think? What does it make you think of current standards for body sizes versus historical ones?
